About Kansas City Shipping Containers

A container supplier built on KC's rail freight economy: honest grades, written warranties, and payment that happens after you've inspected the box.

Why Kansas City Is a Container Town

Most people picture containers coming off ships, but the middle of America gets its boxes by rail โ€” and no American city handles more rail freight than this one. BNSF's Logistics Park Kansas City south of Gardner is among the largest inland intermodal ports on the continent; the Argentine Yard in KCK sorts freight around the clock; and every one of those trains is full of steel boxes that will eventually age out of ocean-and-rail duty. When they do, they enter the local resale market. Our job is picking the sound ones out of that stream, grading them honestly, and trucking them the short distance to your property.

What We Sell and How We Grade It

  • One-trip units โ€” manufactured overseas, loaded once, effectively new. For visible placement and build-outs.
  • Cargo-worthy (CW) โ€” survey-standard structure, working doors, weatherproof. The value benchmark of the metro.
  • Wind & watertight (WWT) โ€” dry and lockable with more cosmetic mileage, at the lowest price that still comes with our warranty.

The grade appears on your quote in writing, defined the same way our grades guide defines it publicly. If a box doesn't meet its stated grade when it arrives, you reject it at the truck and the replacement is on us.

The Guarantees We Put in Writing

Container retail has earned its trust problem, so we don't ask for trust โ€” we ask you to hold paper: a lifetime wind-and-watertight warranty and a 10-year frame warranty on every unit, a 60-day return policy, payment on delivery (including cash in the KC market), and inspection rights before the box ever leaves the trailer. No other seller in this metro puts all five in writing. If one does, buy from whoever's cheaper โ€” that's how confident we are in the delivered math.

Where We Work

The full two-state metro: Missouri-side from the Northland down through Lee's Summit and Belton; Kansas-side from Leavenworth through Olathe and out to De Soto. All 28 service areas carry their own page with drive times and placement notes we actually use when routing trucks.

Straight Talk, By Policy

We'll tell you when renting beats buying, when a WWT box honestly covers your use, and when your driveway won't take a 40 โ€” before money moves, not after. We don't manufacture urgency, we don't blur grades to move slow inventory, and we don't quote a container price and discover a "fuel surcharge" on delivery morning. The quote is one delivered number, it holds for 5 days, and the buyer's guide tells you exactly what to demand from us or anyone else.

Two Sides of a State Line, One Standard

Operating a two-state metro means holding one standard across two tax codes, dozens of municipal rulebooks, and the eternal Missouri-Kansas ribbing. The standard travels well because it's simple: the grade in writing, the price in one number, the inspection before the payment, the warranty behind everything. A Raymore driveway and a Fairfax industrial yard get the same paperwork and the same accountability โ€” only the delivery miles and the tax line change. In a market where plenty of sellers operate from three states away and it shows, being from here, on both sides of here, is the whole brand.
