Kansas City Metro Container Service Areas
Fourteen Missouri towns, fourteen Kansas towns, one depot โ every page carries the real drive time, routes, and local placement rules we use to plan your delivery.
Twenty-eight town pages, each written from the delivery seat: the real road miles and drive time from our KC-area depot, the routes the truck actually takes, what your specific town's codes and covenants expect, and what your neighbors are ordering. Two states, one metro, one pricing logic โ the miles set the delivery fee, the state line sets the tax treatment, and everything else is the same steel.
Which State Line Matters (and Which Doesn't)
For trucks, the state line is invisible โ we cross it a dozen times a day. For your quote, it matters once: Kansas deliveries itemize state sales tax (exemption certificates accepted and processed routinely), while Missouri deliveries currently carry none. Buyers with flexible delivery addresses โ a business with lots in both states, a family with acreage across the line โ should ask for the two-state comparison; it takes us thirty seconds. For codes and covenants, the state matters not at all: rules are municipal, and the strictness gradient runs from the Johnson County core outward, not along the river.

How to Read the Distance Numbers
The miles shown are road miles from the depot, and they map directly onto the delivery line of your quote โ KCK at 3 miles pays the metro's smallest fee, Gardner at 30 pays honestly for the corridor's distance, and everything between scales linearly. No zones, no surcharges, no rounding up to the nearest mystery โ the calculator prices your exact ZIP and locks it for 5 days.
Beyond the Map
These 28 are where we deliver most, not a boundary. St. Joseph, Lawrence, Topeka-adjacent addresses, Warrensburg, Ottawa โ if you're within a sane haul of the metro, call 816-791-7915 with a ZIP and we'll quote it straight. The site prep guide works everywhere clay and trucks do.
